Faruk Ahmed, Magura: Completion of intensive training course on skill development (cow rearing) was held under the expansion project of dairy cooperatives in dairy shortage upazilas being implemented by Directorate of Cooperatives Dhaka in Magura. Magura Sadar Upazila Cooperative Office organized and concluded the training course on May 15 in the upazila parishad mini hall.
Participants, members of Garai Dairy Cooperative Society Limited (selected beneficiaries) formed under the project number of participants are 50 in 2 batches.
Magura District Cooperative Officer Md Faridul Islam, BRAC Artificial Insemination Enterprise Khulna Region Regional Sales Manager (RSM) BRAC Artificial Insemination Enterprise Md Abul Hossain Khan were present at the closing ceremony of the Intensive Training Course on Skill Development (Cow Husbandry).
Tofail Ahmed, Project Director (Joint Coordinator) Cooperative Dhaka Project of Dairy Cooperative Project in Milk Shortage Upazila was present as the chief guest.
In the overall management of milk shortage in the upazila, expansion project of milk cooperatives Directorate of Cooperatives Dhaka Local Coordinator and Magura Sadar Upazila Cooperative Officer Biraj Mohan Kundu.
Chief Guest Project Director Tofail Ahmed said that the selected beneficiaries of Garai Dairy Cooperative Society should create online marketing, lease a large piece of land with the money of Safe Agriculture Society and cultivate it using organic fertilizers, cultivate grass for fattening cows, make biogas plant, vermicompost fertilizer. and treatment of cattle with natural herbal medicines.
