Moon Desk: The new committee of Dhaka Advertising Association has unanimously formed for a term of two years, says a press release.
The committee was formed at a general meeting at its office in the city on Wednesday.
SM Delwar Hossain, proprietor of Uplift Advertising, and Md Liakat Ali Khan, proprietor of Khan Advertising, were elected president and general secretary of the association respectively.
Other office-bearers of the committee are Proprietor of RN Communication Shahidullah Shah Nur (vice president), Proprietor of Oleander Communication Md Abu Kaiser (vice president), Proprietor of Topmost Communication Md Mizanur Rahman (joint general Secretary), Proprietor of Pranto Advertising Md Abu Zafor Siddiqui (organising secretary), Proprietor of Shapla Media Ad Md Nazrul Islam Sarkar (organising secretary), Proprietor of Mahi Advertising Mizanur Rahman (publicity secretary), Proprietor of Nakshi Advertising Habibur Rahman Habib (office secretary), Proprietor of Gomti Advertising Md Mostak Ahmed Roni (finance secretary), Proprietor of Fusion Communication Abdur Rahman Sheikh (sports and cultural secretary), Proprietor of Rupanti Advertising Halima Begum (women affairs secretary) and Proprietor of Star Media Md Mahbub Alam Khan (religion affairs secretary).
Executive members are Islam Hossain Montu, proprietor of Expert Advertising, Bishu Kumar Das, proprietor of Aritra Advertising Firm, Md. Salauddin Ahmed Swapan, proprietor of Western Advertising, Md Golam Hossain Golap, proprietor of Rajdhani Advertising, Md Monowar Hossain Munsi, proprietor of Accurate Advertising and Hasina Akter Shahzadi, proprietor of Shahzadi Communication.
