Tongi Correspondent: Organized by the International Karate Union (IKU) Bangladesh, black belts have been officially awarded to karate students. The belt was awarded at Sahajuddin Sarker School and College Auditorium in Tongi on Friday afternoon.

Advocate Delwar Hossain, principal of Sahajuddin Sarker School and College, was present as the chief guest in the program under the chairmanship of IKU, Gazipur District President Syed Atiq. Bangladesh Karate Federation Finance Secretary Sensei Abul Kalam Azad, IKU Vice President Shekanul Islam Shahi, General Secretary Sensei Abdullah Al-Mamun, Saeed Mahmud, Amal Krishna Roy, Sensei Jasim Uddin, Bulbul Ahmed and others spoke as special guests.

Apart from black belt, more than 100 students were awarded blue belt, green and yellow belt along with certificates, crests and special awards to their parents who achieved national level achievements.
