City Desk: President Mohammad Shahabuddin’s controversial comments and falsehoods on the issue of the resignation letter of fascist Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, who ran away from public outrage, are spreading confusion and tension among the nation.
President Mohammad Shahabuddin has lost the moral right to perform the great responsibility of the head of state by breaking his oath through this lie and duplicity. He should voluntarily step down from the presidency to leave with dignity, or the people will force him to resign to try to rehabilitate the fascist regime. He should resign immediately to preserve the honor of the great office of the President.
The leaders present at the discussion meeting and doa mahfil organized at the party head office on the occasion of the 15th death anniversary of Bangladesh Muslim League former president and former MP Ed ANM Yusuf made the above comments. Under the chairmanship of party executive president Abdul Aziz Howlader, party secretary general Kazi Abul Khair, standing committee member Anwar Hossain Aburi, vice president Nazrul Islam, additional secretary general Akbar Hossain Pathan and Kazi AA Kafi, organizing secretary Khan Asad, publicity secretary Sheikh A Sabur also addressed the meeting, central leader Abdul Alim, Zahid Hasan and others. At the end of the discussion, prayers were offered for the soul of late ANM Yusuf.
