Rayhan Ahmed, Mymensingh: A mobile court drive was conducted at an illegal brick kiln located in Trishal Upazila of Mymensingh district under the initiative of Trishal Upazila Administration and Mymensingh District Office Department of Environment on Tuesday.
At that time, M/s Saima Bricks located at Hadder Vita, Bailor was demolished and a fine of five lakh taka was imposed and a fine of five lakh taka was imposed and collected from M/s Hitler Bricks located at Baliar Par, Bailor. Mr. Md. Mahbubur Rahman, Assistant Commissioner (Land), Trishal, served as the Executive Magistrate and Mr. Nazia Uddin, Assistant Director, Department of Environment, Mymensingh District, served as the Prosecutor. In addition, the Trishal Thana Police and the Enforcement Team of the Mymensingh District Office of the Department of Environment provided overall cooperation in the said operation. Such operations will continue in the public interest.
