Mansur Alam, Pabna: Business Mirror’s 5th anniversary was celebrated with various ceremonies at the Daily Sinsha office on Thursday evening at 7:00 pm.
The event included discussions, cake cutting, awards, and floral greetings. Business Mirror’s district correspondent Dr. Mansur Alam presided over the event, and prominent social worker & founding principal of Pabna College Alhaj Mahatab Uddin Biswas delivered the chief guest’s speech. Wishing Business Mirror continued success, he said, “We have no alternative to English education to face the challenges of the 21st century. Our neighboring countries are much ahead of us in English. Those of us who read newspapers should have an English newspaper along with a Bengali newspaper.”
The event was moderated by Professor SM Mahbub Alam, publisher and editor of the Daily Sinsha. Kushtia Medical College founding principal poet Dr. Iftekhar Mahmud, Daily Sinsha executive editor Alhaj Aminur Rahman Khan and MS Group MD Alhaj Mahbubul Alam were spoken as special guests.
