
Special Correspondent: In a free and authoritarian-free Bangladesh, we are breathing a sigh of relief, but even now, some conspirators, and allies of the Awami dictatorship, are plotting against the country and its people. A group is trying to create instability within Bangladesh to make the interim government fail. They must remember that no conspiracy will be able to hold Bangladesh back, AB Party’s Joint General Secretary Altaf Hossain claimed.
He made this statement on the 19th day of the ongoing public Iftar organized by Amar Bangladesh Party. Abdul Halim Khokon, Joint Convener of the AB Party Dhaka South City Unit presided over the Iftar event. Notable businessman Farhad Uddin, Joint Organizing Secretary (Dhaka) Shahjahan Bapari, Relief and Disaster Affairs Assistant Secretary Masud Jamaddar Rana, and Dhaka South City Youth Leader Nuruzzaman Ujjal also spoke at the event.
Altaf Hossain directed In his keynote address that his comments towards the fallen Hasina, saying, “You should abandon the dream of coming back easily. Once you come, you will see that the people of Bengal are ready to welcome you.” He added that the AB Party, together with the public, will resist any rise of fascism.
He further stated, “Even after 53 years of independence, we have failed to create an education policy. If a nation wants to stand tall in the world, it must base its development on a proper education policy. Our education system must integrate knowledge, science, religion, and technology.” He emphasized that citizens pay taxes, and the government functions on that money, yet government offices fail to treat the people with respect. “That is why we, at AB Party, have embarked on a mission to change the nation with a dedicated group of youth.”
In his speech, Abdul Halim Khokon, Joint Convener of Dhaka South Metropolitan Unit, said, “It is the state’s responsibility to provide food, clothing, shelter, education, and healthcare. We are fighting to restore these rights to the citizens.” He also added, “The fallen dictator fled before the game even began. Where did your strength and courage go? Bengalis don’t easily take to the streets, but once they do, they don’t back down. You saw the result in the July mass uprising, where Hasina’s downfall became inevitable. In the future, the people of Bangladesh will not allow anyone to become a fascist. In tomorrow’s Bangladesh, there will be no discrimination between the rich and the poor.”
He concluded by saying that if the public stays aware, no power will be able to rise as a fascist again.
