Syed Atik, Gazipur: Pointing to the current fate of the fascist Awami League, M Abdullah, Managing Director of the Bangladesh Journalists Welfare Trust, said, “A precedent has been set before us that how dire the consequences can be for those who insult the Quran, the Prophet and religious education of Allah. We have to understand the context in which a 70-year-old party is banned.
He said these things as the chief guest at the reception and award distribution ceremony for meritorious students at the Al Hera Kids Heaven Madrasa premises in Khanpara, Tongi on Wednesday.
M Abdullah said, the dignity of being involved in religious education is becoming more and more available in this new Bangladesh. There is no attempt by the Awami League fascist and heretical government to label those who studied in religious educational institutions in Bangladesh before August 5 last year as militants and close the institutions, which it did not do. That attempt to silence religious education has become a dead end for the Awami League. That party, that politics and that government have come to the fore as a cursed party and government to the people of the country today.
The program was chaired by Maulana Zafar Ahmed Majumdar, Chairman of Al Hera Global Education Foundation, and moderated by Maulana Hasan Mahmud, Coordinator of Al Hera Kids Heaven Madrasa. Maulana Arif Billah, Vice Chairman of the Foundation, spoke as a special guest. Teachers Maulana Mejadul Haque Nasimi, Tahmina Sultana Lucky, among others, spoke at the event.
Later, the crests were handed over to the meritorious students, guests, teachers, and parents.
