
DU Correspondent: Chinese Embassy in Dhaka in collaboration with the Association of Travel Agents of Bangladesh (ATAB) and the University of Dhaka (DU) on Monday celebrated 15th Chinese Tourism Day at the Teacher-Student Centre (TSC).
The event featured vibrant cultural performances and a curated photo exhibition portraying the scenic landscapes and tourism appeal of Chinese provinces including Beijing, Guangdong, and Yunnan.
Cultural Counselor of Chinese Embassy in Dhaka Li Shaopeng and ATAB President Abdus Salam Aref jointly presided over the event, while Dr. Yang Hui, Director of the Confucius Institute at Dhaka University, attended as a special guest.
The celebration brought together travel industry stakeholders, university students, and members of the press, fostering a platform for youth engagement and academic collaboration in the field of tourism.
The event underscored the growing friendship between Bangladesh and China and reflected a shared vision to boost mutual tourism and cultural exchange in the years ahead.
