Diplomatic Desk: The Islamic Republic of Iran Embassy, Dhaka strongly condemns the naked aggression of the Zionist Israeli government on the territory of the Islamic Republic of Iran and the martyrdom of several commanders of the country’s armed forces, famous scientists, and innocent women and children.
This aggression is a clear violation of the UN Charter, especially Article 4, Article 2, and a clear example of direct military aggression against the national sovereignty of the Islamic Republic of Iran. In this situation, in accordance with Article 51 of the UN Charter, the Islamic Republic of Iran reserves the legitimate and just right to respond harshly.
The international community, especially the United Nations, Islamic countries, and member states of the Non-Aligned Movement, are called upon to respond quickly and effectively to this aggressive act and this serious threat to international peace and security.
