Staff Correspondent: Dr. Ziauddin Hyder Swapon, renowned public health expert and Chief Advisor of the non-governmental development organization SEDRO, has recently been appointed as an Advisor to the Chairperson of the Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP). It is worth mentioning that SEDRO began its journey in the aftermath of the devastating Cyclone Sidor on November 15, 2007, through emergency relief and rehabilitation activities. Since its inception, the organization has been working in the fields of social welfare, education, healthcare, disaster management, and human rights protection.
