Special Correspondent: Pakistani companies from the beauty, cosmetics and wellness sectors are showcasing their products at the B-Beauty Tech Expo 2026, which opened today at the International Convention City Bashundhara (ICCB) in Dhaka and will continue until July 18.

Pakistan’s High Commissioner to Bangladesh, Imran Haider, visited the Pakistani pavilion on the opening day of the three-day exhibition, where he met exhibitors and reviewed the range of products on display.

During his visit, the High Commissioner highlighted the significant potential for expanding bilateral trade between Bangladesh and Pakistan, particularly in the beauty, cosmetics and wellness industries. He stressed the importance of strengthening commercial ties through greater private-sector engagement and increased market access.

Exhibitors from Pakistan shared their experiences of participating in the expo and expressed optimism about the growing demand for their products in Bangladesh. They also offered recommendations for enhancing Business-to-Business (B2B) collaboration, including facilitating trade links, increasing networking opportunities and promoting regular participation in industry exhibitions.

The participation of Pakistani companies in the Dhaka-based expo reflects a growing interest in exploring new business opportunities in Bangladesh’s expanding beauty and personal care market.

Industry stakeholders believe that stronger B2B partnerships and closer cooperation between businesses in the two countries could contribute to increased trade and investment in the sector. The three-day exhibition has brought together local and international companies to showcase the latest innovations and products in beauty, cosmetics and wellness.
