Moon Desk: Hamdard Laboratories (Waqf) Bangladesh Managing Director & Chief Motawalli Dr. Hakeem Md Yusuf Harun Bhuiyan elected President and Greenlife Natural Healthcare (Ayurvedic) Dr. Mizanur Rahman as General Secretary in Bangladesh Ayurvedic Medicine Manufacturers Association Election (2022-2024). At the same time, the ‘Combined Ayurveda Parishad’, which contested under their leadership, won the full panel.
The number of voters in this organization of Ayurveda industry owners was 112. Dr. Hakeem Md. Yusuf Haroon Bhuiyan won by getting 69 votes as president. His nearest rival Salim Mohammad Shahjahan got 37 votes.
The winner as general secretary Dr. Md. Mizanur Rahman got 64 votes and the rival candidate Md. Ekramul Haque Khan got 41 votes. The winners of other positions are: Senior Vice President Dr. Md. Nurul Hossain, Two Vice Presidents respectively Dr. Md. Fazlur Rahman and Dr. Md. Nasir Uddin, Joint General Secretary Dr. Md. Fazlul Haque, Organizing Secretary SM Sakhawat Hossain, Finance Secretary Dr. Md. Nurul Haque Khalifa, Publicity and Publication Secretary Md. Abul Hasan, Research Development and Foreign Secretary SM Rubel Talukder, Department Head Md. Akram Hossain, Md. Mostafizur Rahman, Md. Moinuddin Rubel, Mubarak Hossain, Anand Kumar Pramanik, Sushil Chandra.
The election has been held at National Press Club, polling started from 10 am till 4 pm. After the announcement of the official results, an impromptu reception was held in the auditorium of the head office of Hamdard at Banglamotor in the capital.
On the occasion, the newly elected president and general secretary were felicitated by various organizations. Apart from this, various organizations greeted Hakeem Md Yusuf Harun Bhuiyan with colorful flowers at the main office of Hamdard throughout the day.
