An IDEB house has been given as a gift to a homeless person funded by Institution of Diploma Engineers, Bangladesh (IDEB) in Katila village of Jugipara Union of Bagmara Upazila of Rajshahi.
The key of this house was officially handed over as a gift to the helpless and homeless Abdul Khalek on Wednesday.
IDEB Central Committee President AKMA Hamid, Vice President Kabir Uddin, Employment Affairs Secretary Abdul Quddus, District Committee President Md Aminul Haque, General Secretary Hossain Shaheed Sohrawardy, Organizing Secretary Md Moshiur Rahman, District Relief and Resettlement Officer Salah Uddin Al Wadud and others were present nin this moment.
Although Engineer Enamul Haque MP was supposed to be present as the chief guest, he expressed his wish on the mobile phone not to attend the public important work and praised him for such a great work.
IDEB President AKMA Hamid said that Prime Minister is building a residence for the homeless. IDEB is building houses for the homeless in different parts of the country in solidarity with the Prime Minister’s initiative. We are proud of such activities. Abdul Khalek thanked the Prime Minister and IDEB for getting the new half-baked house.
Bagmara Upazila Project Implementation Officer Rajeev Al Rana led a 5-member committee to properly supervise the construction work at a cost of about 3 lakh taka financed by Savar Organizational District IDEB President Md. Rabiul Islam.
