Moon Desk: There will be no half-fare ticket system for students in the Metro Rail. So, the students will have to pay full fare while traveling.
MAN Siddique, managing director of Dhaka Mass Transit Company Limited, came up with the information on Tuesday at a press briefing.
Road Transport and Bridge Minister Obaidul Quader was also present during the briefing.
Obaidul Quader mentioned that Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina is going to inaugurate the Metro Rail at 11am on Wednesday (December 28).
Those who will buy rapid pass card, will get 10 percent concession in fare. Children under three feet can travel without fare with their parents, the minister added.
