MOON Desk: Mirza Mehedi Tamal of Bangladesh Pratidin and Mamunur Rashid of the Daily Observer have been elected as the president and general secretary respectively of the Crime Reporters Association of Bangladesh (CRAB).
Mizanur Rahman of Somoynews.net was elected as CRAB vice president and Rudro Mizan as joint secretary of the organization of crime reporters.
Other office bearers are: Finance Secretary Emdadul Hoque Khan, Organising Secretary Anowar Hoque Bakul, Publicity and Publication Secretary SM Foyez, Office Secretary Kamal Hossain Talukder (uncontested), Training and ICT Secretary Ismail Hossain Imu (uncontested), Sports and Cultural Secretary Md Abu Jafar, Welfare Secretary Wasim Siddique, International Secretary Tanvir Hasan.
Three executive members are Abdullah Al Mamun, Jashim Uddin and Enamul Hoque Rupom.
A total of 273 voters out of 293 participated in the election held from 10 am to 4:30 pm on Tuesday.
