Munshiganj Correspondent: Police recovered the body of a man from Dhaleshwari River at Launch-ghat area in Munshiganj district town on Monday morning.
Identities of the deceased, age around 45, could not be known immediately.
According to locals, they saw the body which one hand and leg were missing, was floating in the river and informed police.
Munshiganj Sadar Police Station officer-in-charge Md Ansaruzzaman said being informed, police rushed there and recovered the body.
Later, the body was sent to Munshiganj General Hospital for autopsy and legal steps would be taken in this regard, the OC added.
