M A Mannan, Bhola: A human chain was held condemning terrorist attack on Maksud Howladar, the former vice-president of the Union Volunteer League, at Daulatkhane, Bhola.
The program was held on Thursday at 11 am in front of Charpata Secondary School of the upazila.
Hundreds of locals participated in human bonding. They strongly condemned the attack and demanded the arrest and punishment of the culprits.
Shahe Alam Howlader, the father of Maksud Hawladar said, last Friday (January 28) evening, due to a dispute over land, a terrorist group of 15, led by Alauddin attacked Maksud with rods and sharp weapons they crippled Maksud’s arms and legs. He was rescued and taken to Bhola Sadar Hospital. Maksud is currently under treatment at Shyamoli Trauma Center and Orthopedic Hospital in Dhaka.
Zakir Hossain, Officer-in-Charge (OC), Daulatkhan P S said, “A case has been filed in this regard, efforts are on to arrest the accused.”
