Barisal Bureau: A workshop and committee formation meeting was held at the Kirtankhola Auditorium in Barisal on Monday at the initiative of Amar Bangladesh Party (AB Party) Barisal District and City Branch. AB Party General Secretary Barrister Asaduzzaman Fuaad was present as the chief guest. AB Party Organizing Secretary Gazi Nasir and Liberation War Affairs Secretary Abdul Aziz were special guests.
Barrister Fuaad said in his speech as the chief guest that the current law and order situation is the responsibility of the autocratic Hasina and the Awami League. But the government cannot avoid the failure to ensure public safety. Since there was no politics in Bangladesh in the last 53 years, the July Revolution took place with the slogan of seeking new political settlement and reforms. Instead of doing politics to solve the problems of the people, the big parties have been and are still doing extortion and tendering. Political parties have taken advantage of unemployment and turned the parties into rehabilitation centers. Those who are occupying and extorting in the name of politics. After Hasina fled on August 5, lakhs of Awami terrorists have become unemployed. As a result, the old ones are changing their faces and using new banners to extort. Blaming the Awami League for the current theft, robbery and deterioration of the law and order situation, he said, the current Home Affairs Advisor should resign due to inefficiency. He may be a good person, but he is not suitable to run the Home Ministry. No matter how good an incompetent person is, the state cannot be run by him. At the workshop, he highlighted the need for new politics and called on the people of Barisal to stay with the AB Party.
At the end of the workshop, based on the opinions of the organizers present, a 41-member Barisal District and Metropolitan Convening Committee was announced with Kallol Chowdhury as the convener and Engineer Kamrul Islam Rabbi as the member secretary.

Tanvir Newaz, Joint Member Secretaries Dr. Tanvir Ahmed, Mehedi Hasan, Raihan Uddin, SM Kalim, Advocate Rakib Ahsan, Anik Karmakar and Ibrahim Kislu Khan, along with leaders at various levels of the district and city were also present at the time.
