Special Correspondent: Barrister Abdur Razzak, former chief advisor of Amar Bangladesh Party (AB Party), is undergoing treatment in the ICU of a hospital in the capital due to serious illness. AB Party Chairman Mojibur Rahman Bhuiyan Monju and General Secretary Barrister Asaduzzaman Fuaad have requested the countrymen for prayers for his recovery.
In a request sent to the media for publication, they said that Barrister Abdur Razzak is a unique personality in the legal world of Bangladesh. He has struggled for a long time to establish the rule of law and justice in the country. He was always vocal against all the judicial killings that were committed during the fascist regime of the Awami League. He had to live in exile for a long time due to the wrath of fascism. It was during that time that he was diagnosed with incurable cancer. The leaders said that Barrister Abdur Razzak’s contribution to the establishment of the Amar Bangladesh (AB) Party as a new political initiative in Bangladesh is unforgettable.
They wished Barrister Abdur Razzak a speedy recovery and long life and appealed to the countrymen for prayers.
