City Desk: Youth Party Dhaka City South member secretary Mahmud Azad conducted a youth rally at the party’s central office on Friday.
AB Party member secretary Mojibur Rahman Manju was present as the chief guest and Abdul Halim Khokon, joint convener of AB Party Dhaka Metropolitan South, was present as a special guest. Youth Party Convenor Shahadatullah Tutul presided.
Addressing the youth, Mojibur Rahman Manju said that in the formation of the post-revolutionary country, the youth must play an important role in increasing their qualifications and forming the society as conscious patriotic citizens. It should be remembered that life and wealth are at stake in politics, so are people’s endless prayers and love. AB Party does politics for all citizens irrespective of party, creed and caste.
Then the state does not divide its citizens on the basis of religion, caste or profession. AB Party is an inclusive political party of people from all walks of life. He called on the leaders and workers of the youth party to be the best in terms of ideals and ethics and to play a role in the welfare of the people.
AB Youth Party convener Shahadatullah Tutul said, the desire of the 24th revolution is to create Bangladesh without discrimination. The previous corrupt fascist Awami government made the country a paradise of crime with the Chhatra League and Youth League. In his resistance, the patriotic students and youth caused the downfall after that bad regime. Therefore, he called on the interim government to involve the youth in the formation of the country. He said, the youth society should be united and play a role in the formation of the country. The AB Youth Party is working towards the realization of that goal. He called upon the conscious youth to join the AB Youth Party.
Youth Party Joint Member Secretary Tofazzal Hossain Ramiz, Dhaka Metropolitan North Member Secretary Shahinur Akhtar Shila, Assistant Member Secretary Masudur Rahman, Imran Hossain Shiblu also spoke at the youth rally.
The meeting was also attended by Engineer Kaushik Ahmed, convener of Mahanagar North, youth leader Moin Uddin, Sharif Hossain, Mirazul Islam Shanto, Nusrat Jahan Pinki, Israt Jahan Liza, Advocate Ruhul Amin, Mainul Islam, Jewel Rana, AR Zaman, Shahjahan Kabir and others.
