Moon Desk: Criticisng Awami League general secretary Obaidul Quader’s remarks on BNP’s 27-point of Structural Reform of the State, BNP standing committee member Khandaker Mosharraf Hossain has said Awami League wants to shift blame to others.
He said, “Awami League earned a bad name to the country. They destroyed all, including judiciary and democratic structures. But now they are saying that the state was destroyed during BNP’s regime. People would not believe in their attempt to shifting blames to others.”
The BNP standing committee member made the remarks while addressing at a human chain programme held in front of the party’s Nayapaltan central office on Tuesday.
Mohila Dal arranged the programme demanding the release of the party leaders and activists.
Earlier, on Monday, Obaidul Quader in a programme said “BNP-Jamaat destroyed the country but they are talking about its reform, which is ridiculous. After assuming power, Sheikh Hasina has reformed the ruined state.”
Awami League is reforming all things the country requires Quader said, questioning “how can those, who put the country at the edge of destruction, reform the country?
Khandaker Mosharraf alleged that the government arrested BNP men, attacked them and lodged cases in an aim to foil the party’s December 10 rally in Dhaka.
