Last Monday, August 5, the family members of this victim admitted to the attack and looting of criminals nationwide. 100 miscreants attacked the houses of 5 sons of Mujibur Rahman Sheikh Shahid Sheikh (50), Salam Sheikh (45), Alauddin Sheikh (40), Mofiz Sheikh (37) and Ali Hasan Sheikh (35) of Goalpara village, house to house, andalized and looted. Ali Hasan’s wife Mina Khatun said, 50 maunds of paddy, 25 maunds of wheat, 20 maunds of jute from our five families, Alauddin’s wife Ferdausi 1 lakh 50 thousand taka in cash, Shahid Sheikh’s wife Shahida’s booty worth taka 2 lakh, Salam Sheikh’s wife Selina Begum’s sheep. And jute, gold earrings and necklace of better wife Jasmine Khatun, 8 annas gold earrings of Mofiz Sheikh’s wife Rupsana Khatun and looted valuables from the house, vandalized the house. According to secret sources, Manju Biswas, Alamin Biswas, Fazlu Biswas, Babu, Tuhin, Hridoy, Sabbir were the main players in the robbery. The victim’s family members said that we are still receiving death threats and are trying to leave the village.
