Diplomatic Correspondent: Bangladesh Justice Party (BAJAPA) Chairman Dr Syed Zaved Mohammad Salehuddin warmly welcome to His Excellency Mr. Jam Kamal Khan, Federal Minister for Commerce of Islamic Republic of Pakistan for his arrival in Bangladesh on Wednesday to begin a four-day official visit scheduled from August 21 to 24, 2025.

Upon his arrival in Dhaka, Bangladesh Justice Party believed that the visit would strengthen bilateral trade ties and enhance economic cooperation between Pakistan and Bangladesh.

Bangladesh Justice Party is a well-known political party in Bangladesh, founded by Barrister Syed Kamrul Islam Mohammad Salehuddin in 1981. Founding president of the Party Barrister Syed Kamrul Islam Mohammad Salehuddin directly participated in the anti-British movement, the language movement of 1952 and the anti-Ayub movement and was imprisoned several times.

An Awami League MNA from Faridpur-2 area in 1970, one of the organizers of the 1971 Liberation War, a member of parliament who won against the Awami League in the 1973 elections, and a vocal voice against Indian hegemony in parliament, Syed Kamrul Islam officially started the party’s activities by establishing the Bangladesh Justice Party in 1981.

After One Eleven (2007), during the interim Awami dictatorship government, applications for registration were not made due to various adversities.

On August 5, 2024, when the opportunity to conduct politics democratically arose in the post-dictatorship-free Bangladesh, the Bangladesh Justice Party was reorganized and initiatives were taken for registration.

Needless to say, from 2008 to 2024, there was no favorable situation for any party to register with the Election Commission, except for the Awami League and its allies in India.
