Press Release: 1. Bangladesh Justice Party remembers the brave language martyrs and language soldiers who participated in the International Mother Language Day and the Great Language Movement with deep respect.
2. On behalf of the Bangladesh Justice Party, the leaders and workers of all levels of the party offered wreaths on behalf of the party at the central Shaheed Minar in Dhaka today.
3. In remembrance of the language martyrs and language soldiers of the great language movement, a discussion meeting titled “Contribution of Barrister Salehuddin to the language movement” was held under the chairmanship of Mr. Shahidul Islam Howlader, vice president of the party and president of BAJAPA Dhaka North City Corporation, at the temporary office of the party under Dhaka North City Corporation of Bangladesh Justice Party (BAJAPA).

At the president’s speech, BAJAPA president Dr. Syed Zaved Mohammad Salehuddin. said, “Barrister Syed Kamrul Islam Mohammad Salehuddin, the founder president of Bangladesh Justice Party, was a first rank soldier who participated in the Great Language Movement in 1952. He was arrested by the police from a protest march held in Barisal city on February 22, 1952 and sent to jail. He was a matriculation exam candidate in 1952. But he was arrested for participating in the Great Language Movement. He was sent to jail from there. He passed the matriculation exam from Barisal in 1953.
6. This is another precedent in the language movement. Despite the fact that the name of Gulshan Road No 11 under the deceased was passed in the city corporation council but the city corporation did not set any signboard in that road, which is very sad.
7. In the meeting, a special prayer was offered seeking the forgiveness of the departed souls of the language soldiers of the great language movement.
