Moon Desk: The 31st Annual General Meeting of BARVIDA Executive Council (2022-2024) was held with great pomp at a convention center in the capital on Sunday.
BARVIDA President Md. Habib Ullah Don presided over the meeting. Members of the organization from all over the country including Dhaka and Chittagong spontaneously participated in it. About 15 members discussed in detail about the future activities of BARVIDA.
BARVIDA President Habib Ullah Don expressed his sincere thanks and gratitude to the members present for attending the annual general meeting despite the cold and business busyness. At the AGM, the minutes of the previous year’s AGM, the annual report by the Secretary General, the audit report for the year (2023-2024) and the approval of the budget for the next year and the appointment of an auditor for the 2024-2025 financial year were approved by the members present with spontaneous applause. The EC leaders including the President, Secretary General and others answered the open questions of the general members. The outgoing President Don assured to continue the efforts to fulfill the demands of the members. He pledged to work hand in hand with the newly elected President. Finally, President Habib Ullah Don thanked everyone and declared the meeting closed.
