Staff Correspondent: Bangladesh Kalyan Party holds protest march on Friday at 2 o’clock at the north gate of Baitul Mukarram demanding the identification and cancellation of certificates of fake freedom fighter and the formation of a special tribunal to prosecute the murderer Hasina forgenocide.Speaking as the chief guest at the protest march. Chairman of the organization Lion Md. Samsuddin Parvez called upon the interim government to identify fake freedom fighters and cancel their charters. He said, as far as we know, the total number of freedom fighters in Bangladesh, directly and indirectly, is one hundred and thirty one thousand and eight hundred, while the previous fascist government has increased the number of freedom fighters by issuing certificates to fake freedom fighters for its own benefit. Even during their seventeen years of rule, they failed to make the actual list of freedom fighters. In the name of listing the freedom fighters,they looted about ten crore rupees. He said that the provocative speech given by Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi about Bangladesh is a threat to Bangladesh’s independence, sovereignty and communal relations.He also said in his speech – “Pilkhana murder, HefazateIslami massacre, Journalist Sagar Rooney murder, above all the murders and disappearances all over the country, including all the murders of theanti-discrimination student movement, are based on the same formula. I demand that the perpetrators and those involved in these killings be brought to justice quickly and the murderer Hasina be brought to justice by forming a special tribunal for these massacres.In the speech of the main speaker in the protest march, the party’s secretary general, Mohammad Abu Hanif, said that since independence,the list of freedom fighters has been added and deleted at least seven times.The age-definition and criteria for inclusion in the list as heroic freedom fighters have changed eleven times. The contribution of brave freedom fighters in the freedom movement is immense. But the former dictatorial government tarnished the history of the liberation war by issuing fake freedom fighter certificate to the party leaders and workers who were born even after independence to pursue their own interests. In the last sixteen years, all the extra-judicial killings, including the Pilkhana, have been committed, and I strongly demand that the murderers and their accomplices be brought to justice.Bangladesh Welfare Party Vice Chairman Rafiqul Islam,Ershadur Rahman, Joint Secretary General Abu Yusuf Sumon, Lion Umar Razi, ZafarIqbal Assistant Secretary General Md.
