Feni Correspondent: A group of 7/8 people led by BNP leader UP member Kamrul attacked the shop of innocent businessman Hafez Maksud in Subar Bazar of Mirzanagar Union of Parshuram Upazila of Feni demanding Tk 20 lakh extortion, beating him, looting and robbing him of cash. A complaint has been filed with Parshuram Police Station and a case has been filed in Feni Court. On Monday (April 22), the victim’s mother Nurun Nahar filed a case in Feni Court as the plaintiff. According to the case source, the son of Oliur Rahman of Madhugram, Parshuram, was sitting in his establishment in Subar Bazar.
The complaint states that around noon, Kamrul Islam, son of Aminur Rahman of the same village, entered the shop of businessman Hafez Maksudur Rahman with a group of 7/8 people. At that time, the assailants dragged him out of the shop and vandalized the shop. At one point, they all beat, punched and kicked him to the ground. The terrorists threw Maqsud out of the shop and closed the shutters with the intention of robbing and looting the shop.
At that time, they took 2.5 lakh taka in cash, 3 lakh taka in goods and a mobile set from Maksud’s shop. While leaving, the terrorist Kamrul pointed a pistol at Maqsud’s chest and threatened to shoot him dead. Deprived of justice, Maqsud is currently on the run in fear of the terrorists. In this regard, Kamrul said that Maqsud attacked him first and he resisted.
OC of Parashuram Model Police Station Nurul Hakim confirmed the attack on innocent businessman Maqsud and the filing of a complaint at the police station.
