Mansur Alam, Pabna: The biggest bill of Bangladesh is called Chalan Beel. Hundreds of small and big boats are playing in the rhythm of the water. Boats are moving around with entertainment lovers on the chest of Chalan Beel. Many tourists are coming from different areas, entertainment lovers are coming.

The shape of the Chalan Beel region has changed in the monsoons. In the evening, the sun sinks into the water of the bill. Beautiful scenery all around, overcrowded with entertainment seekers. With the new water came different species of native fish including Shoal, Boal, Tangra, Punti, Kai, Shing, Magur, Chapila, Pabda. The canal and lowlands of Chalan Beel are now flooded. Some people are fishing with boats, some are making different types of fishing nets and selling them in the local bazaar. Many have prepared boats for entertainment.

Such a scene can be seen on the surface. During the monsoon season, the roads in the inaccessible areas of the Bill are submerged in water. Boats are the only means of transportation for people in these areas. This time the demand for boats is a little higher. Many have repaired and bought boats before monsoons. Abdul Matin of Nimaichra village of Chatmohar upazila told Business Mirror that there is no such activity in the Chalan Beel area during the monsoon season.

At this time the poor people of the area chose the profession of fishing. Despite the ban on egg fishing, a class of unscrupulous and hobbyist fishermen are freely fishing for eggs.

In the Chalan Beel area, hundreds of entertainment centers have been built in Tamani Bilpad due to the presence of entertainment lovers. People of all age groups come to Chalan Beel during this monsoon and enjoy the water, water waves, boats, pleasure boats, singing, Bhatiali in the voice of the fishermen, migratory birds, fishing, sparkling lighting of the banks etc. One of the biggest bills of the country has changed in the fall monsoon – the beauty of the current bill.
