Staff Correspondent: Dainik Amar Desh and its editor Dr Mahmudur Rahman suffered the most abuse and persecution in the media during the fall of the fascist government. Dainik Amar Desh is not free even after the country is free from fascism. The press has been seized as evidence in the case. Editor Dr Mahmudur Rahman is living a miserable life in exile with a sentence and 125 cases in his mind in a fabricated case.
In this situation, a protest rally will be held in front of the National Press Club at 10:30 am today, demanding the trial of persecution and the cancellation of the sentence given in the fabricated case against Editor Mahmudur Rahman and Mrs. Mahmudur Rahman. On behalf of Dainik Amar Desh, all those who believe in free media are requested to attend and raise their voices.
