
Diplomatic Correspondent: The first flight of Saudi Airlines to transport Bangladeshi pilgrims (Hijri 1446) was witnessed by Religious Affairs Adviser Dr. AFM Khaled Hussein, Adviser to the Ministry of Civil Aviation and Tourism Sheikh Bashir Uddin, His Excellency Abdul Aziz bin Fahad M Al-Ibrahim, Deputy Head of Mission (Charge d’Affaires) of Saudi Embassy in Dhaka, Mr. Jamal Al Mansouri, Director of Media Affairs of Saudi Embassy in Dhaka, Fahad Ali M Alqahtani, Director of Ambassador’s office & head of the protocol, Secretary to the Ministry of Civil Aviation and Tourism Ms. Nasreen Jahan, government officials, some embassy staff and representatives of relevant authorities.
His Excellency Charge d’Affaires of Saudi Embassy Abdul Aziz bin Fahad M Al-Ibrahim commended the effective partnership between government agencies involved in implementing the Makkah Road Initiative, stressing that this fruitful integration contributes to providing quality services to the guests of Allah, implementing the generous directives of the wise leadership – may God protect them – and achieving the goals of the Kingdom’s Vision 2030. His Excellency also commended the distinguished efforts of the national airline and the team implementing this initiative in Bangladesh, commending the tireless work of the embassy staff in supporting and assisting the team’s work.
