City Desk: A discussion meeting was held on Saturday afternoon on January 25, 2025 at Panthapath SEL Center Auditorium on “Actions to be taken to eradicate corruption”. Sarwar Wadud Chowdhury, General Secretary of Anti-Corruption National Coordinating Committee, regretfully said that he requested a meeting with the Chairman of the Anti-Corruption Commission on December 26, 2024 to discuss anti-corruption issues, but did not receive any reply.
In the speech of the chief guest of the program, eminent intellectual, president of Bangladesh Academy of Agriculture, Prof. Dr. Lutfar Rahman cited the political identity of teachers as one of the destruction of the education system and demanded the formation of an education commission for ethical and humane education free from political influence from the primary level.
The special guest of the program, Lt. Gen. (Retd.) Dr. Chowdhury Hasan Sarwardy urged the government officials and employees to be free from party influence and perform their duties for the welfare of the people.
Ayub Bhuiyan, General Secretary of the National Press Club, as special guest on the occasion announced the unity of the journalist community with the National Anti-Corruption Coordination Committee.
Member of Anti-Corruption National Coordinating Committee and former president of Bangladesh Judicial Service Association Mr. Md.
