Moon Desk: Former Director and former Chairman of NCC Bank as well as a leading industrialist & philanthropist of the country SM Abu Mohsin passed away on Monday at Apollo Imperial Hospitals, Chattogram due to heart attack. (Innalillahi Oinna Elaihe Rajiun).
He was 72. He left behind his wife, four sons and a good numbers of well wishers.
SM Abu Mohsin was born in a respectable Muslim family of Chittagong in 1952.
Mr. Mohsin was the Chairman of Alliance Deep Sea Fishing Ltd., JM Shipping Lines, Food & Accommodation Co. Ltd. and Managing Director of Brothers Oxygen Ltd. His father Late SM Mozaherul Haq was the Founder of Mozaher Group and Mr. Mohsin was also a director of this group. Mr. SM Abu Mohsin was the Chairman of Continental Insurance Ltd. and Director of Central Hospital Ltd. He was associated with many social and educational organizations.
