Online Desk: Mohammad Omar Faruk from Sonagazi has been appointed as the Joint Convener of the Central Executive Committee of the Bangladesh Nationalist Bankers Association.
This information was disclosed in a letter signed on January 8 by the Convener of the Bangladesh Nationalist Bankers Association, Mohammad Iqbal Hossain, and the Member Secretary Mohammad Mostafizur Rahman.
Mr. Omar Faruk is currently working in the position of Principal Officer at the Islami Bank Bangladesh PLC Dhaka Head Office. He also served as the Education Secretary of the Sonagazi Samity Dhaka for a long time.
He is the son of the late Siddiq Ahmed from Shahapur village of Sonagazi Sadar Union under Feni District. Mr. Faruk has expressed his hope for the cooperation and prayers of all to successfully carry out his new responsibilities.
