Chattagram Bureau: Selection of International Consultancy Firm for a detailed Engineering Design of Breakwater for Bay Terminal and assess the actual volume of Capital Dredging including necessary studies following in the presence of Rear Admiral M Shahjahan, Chairman of Chittagong Port Authority, NPP, BCGMS, NDC, PSC in the boardroom of Chittagong Port Authority. An agreement was signed between the Chittagong Port Authority and the international consultancy firm Sellhorn Ingenieurgesellschaft mbH, Germany and AQUA Consultant & Associates Ltd & KS Consultants Ltd, Bangladesh in order to hire the latest International Standard work consultancy firm.
According to the agreement, the company will complete the design, drawing, estimation and tender document preparation of breakwater and access channel dredging activities within the next 6 months. All members of Chabak, Manfred Voss, representative of Sellhorn Ingenieurgesellschaft mbH, Managing Director of KS Consultants Ltd Mr. Md. Hafizur Rahman and department heads of Chabak were present at the signing ceremony.
