MM Rahmatullah: Bangladesh Justice Patti extends sincere greetings and best wishes to all members of the Bangladesh Armed Forces on the occasion of Combined Armed Forces Day, 21st November.
On the occasion of Armed Forces Day, president of Bangladesh Justice Party, Advocate Dr. Syed Javed Mohammad Salehuddin and General Secretary Mr. Mansoor Alam Shikder in a joint statement said: On 21st November 1971 Bangladesh Armed Forces achieved perfection. But regrettably, even after 53 years of independence, our armed forces have not become fully strong, self-reliant and developed.
The leaders also said that we are hopeful that the Bangladesh government will ignore all the pressures and conspiracies of the changing world situation, the conspiracies and warlike attitudes of the neighboring countries, the repeated provocative actions and threatening activities against the sovereignty of Bangladesh, the provocative firing of the Indian BSF on the border and countless extrajudicial killings, the Myanmar military junta. imposed by the government Rohingya crisis, repeated violation of Bangladesh airspace, provocative deployment of warships in Bangladesh waters near Saint Martin Island and taking into consideration the regional-international geopolitical context, Bangladesh will carry out proper reforms of the armed forces to transform them into a fearless and adventurous force of the country and equip them with modern and age-appropriate war weapons.
Under the supervision of the armed forces, they will take the initiative to form a People’s Liberation Army with compulsory military training for all adult citizens from all walks of life and play a proactive role in protecting the freedom of Bangladesh so that the open and secret enemies of Bangladesh do not dare to look back at Bangladesh, they added.
The president and general secretary of Bangladesh Justice Party also said that Bangladesh Justice Pati thinks that under the influence of a lateral system to perform professional duties only on behalf of the armed forces during the previous government, about 300 retired officers of various levels of the Bangladesh Armed Forces were sent to the cantonments of Bangladesh on the orders of the then army chief. Today, Bangladesh Justice Pati is requesting the government to carry out a proper investigation and withdraw the PNG assigned during the previous government.
