Staff Correspondent: A seminar titled “Present situation of the country and what citizens should do” was held at the National Press Club on Thursday.
Eminent people and some political leaders have proposed the name of Dr. Col (Retd) Oli Ahmad Bir Bikram as the next new president of Bangladesh.
They said that the current president Mohammad Sahabuddin has lost his eligibility to hold office by lying. Dr. Col (Retd) Oli Ahmad should be made president in his place. Lieutenant General (Retd) Chowdhury Hasan Suhrawardi spoke at this event as chief guest organized by Ideal Bangladesh.
Former VC of Patuakhali Science and Technology University Dr.Abdul Latif Masum, former VC of Begum Rokeya University Professor Dr. Nazmul Ahsan Kalimullah, Bangladesh Justice Party (BAJAPA) Chairman Dr. Syed Zaved Mohammad Salehuddin, Dr. Neyamul Bashir, Dr. Aurangzeb Belal, Advocate Abul Hashem, Prof Sheikh Asif Mizan and many others spoke at the event among others.
