City Desk: Md Ali Akhtar Hossain, chief engineer of LGED, inaugurated the training of four projects including Climate Resilient Local Infrastructure Center (CRILIC) in the seminar room of RDEC building of LGED headquarters on Sunday. Five-day TOT course on RTK GPS and Total Station Field Operations, three-day orientation of eleven newly joined assistant engineers, four-day financial management, five-day preparation of TPP and DPP with regard to climate change, two-day D-document training and one-day e – The trainings will be held under the title of PMS training.
While inaugurating the training, Chief Engineer of Local Government Engineering Department, Md. Ali Akhtar Hossain said, “Rural economy means the activities of LGED; LGED is the embodiment of change in rural Bengal.” Our officers and employees at all levels should cherish this concept, hold it and execute it on time. The people of the village have confidence in LGED, they look up to us – that we can devote ourselves to the development of rural Bengal by using our various training knowledge.
Additional Chief Engineer Gopal Krishna Debnadh, Abdur Rashid Miah, Md. Abdul Hakim, Supervising Engineer Md. Salim Miah, Momin Mojibul Haque Samazi, Belal Hossain, Project Director Md. Abdul Khalek addressed the opening ceremony. Also present were Executive Engineer Md. Shafiqul Islam, Moushumi Salmin, Assistant Engineer Asif Ahnaf Chowdhury, Cream- CRILIC Team Leader Dr. Daan Boom, Consultant Antonio Arenas and Training Specialist Banda Hafiz. During this time, trainees, project officials and consultants were present. Md. Shafiqul Islam, Executive Engineer of LGED Training Unit conducted the program.
