A seminar titled ‘Necessity of Building a New Islamic Civilization’ was organized at the recreation lounge of Fars Hotel in the capital on Saturday afternoon under the initiative of the Iranian Cultural Center of the Iranian Embassy in Dhaka.
Ayatollah Reza Ramazani, Secretary General of the World Assembly of Ahlul Bayt of Iran, was present as the chief guest at the seminar. Ambassador of the Iranian Embassy in Dhaka Mansur Chavoshi, Director General of Islamic Foundation Bangladesh Abdus Salam Khan, Vice Chancellor of Royal University of Dhaka Professor Dr. ANM Meshkat Uddin, Central Working Committee Member of Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami and Secretary of Dhaka City South Dr. Shafiqul Islam Masud, and Professor of Iran’s University of Religions and Denominations Dr. Seyyed Mahdi Mousavi were present as special guests.
Cultural Counselor of the Iranian Cultural Center in Dhaka, Seyyed Reza Mir Mohammadi presided over the event.
