MA Mannan, Bhola: A mass meeting was held in Deula Union under the Borhanuddin Upazila of Islamic Movement Bangladesh in Bhola.
Yesterday, October 18, at 10:00 am, the meeting was chaired by Mufti Imam Md. Rezaul Karim Burhani, the candidate for the post of Member of Parliament from Bhola-2 (Borhanuddin-Daulatkhan) constituency, nominated by the patron of Islamic Movement Bangladesh, Pir Saheb Charmonai.
In his speech, he said, “Establishing Islamic ideals in the country is our goal. Islamic Movement Bangladesh is working relentlessly for the welfare of the people, building a just society and establishing a corruption-free administration. Our goal is to establish a welfare state based on the commandments of Allah and the ideals of the Prophet (PBUH).”
He further urged, “People should forget their differences and unite for the Islamic way of life. Our struggle against injustice and deprivation is the call of the Quran.”
Leaders of the Islamic Movement Bangladesh Borhanuddin Upazila branch, officials of various union branches, scholars and monotheistic people were present at the mass meeting.
After the program, the invitation letter of the Islamic Movement and various programs of the organization were distributed among the people present.
