Business Desk: An executive development program titled ‘How to Boost Islamic Banking and Finance in Bangladesh’ was recently held by the Islami Bank Training and Research Academy (IBTRA). The keynote speaker was Dr. M. Kabir Hasan, Professor of the University of New Orleans, USA. The program was chaired by the bank’s AMD Md. Altaf Hussain and was attended by AMD Md. Jamal Uddin Majumder, SEVP Md. Maksudur Rahman and GM Md. Gias Uddin Quader. IBTRA Principal KM Munirul Alam Al-Mamun delivered the welcome speech and Head of Training Ahmed Zubayerul Haque expressed the vote of thanks.
