BSS, DHAKA: Several companies under Bangladesh’s Jamuna Group participated in the ‘Global Sourcing Expo-2024’ held in Sydney, Australia. More than 100 top garment companies from over 20 countries and regions around the world took part in the three-day expo that concluded on June 14, a press release said here today.
This event served as a platform to unite industry leaders, suppliers, and buyers under one roof for discussions, exchange of experiences, and showcasing products to foster innovative ideas, the release added. At the expo, subsidiaries of Jamuna Group, including Hureen HTF Limited, garment unit Jamuna Denims, and Jamuna Denims Weaving Limited, displayed various products.In this context, Sumaiya Rosalin Islam, Director of Jamuna Group and Managing Director of Hureen HTF Limited, stated, “It’s a new experience. We gained insights into the Australian market and created opportunities. Additionally, by showcasing high-quality products at this expo, we attracted international buyers and companies, aiming to represent Bangladesh.”
