Special Correspondent: Jamuna Life Insurance authorities have relieved Dr. Biswajit Kumar Mondal from the post of Acting Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and Additional Managing Director of Jamuna Life Insurance.
The matter of the relief was disclosed in a letter signed by Jamuna Life Chairman Badrul Alam Khan, relieving him on Tuesday.
The letter states that, as per the decision of the 54th Board of Directors meeting held on August 28, 2024, you were appointed as Additional Managing Director and also given the responsibility of Chief Executive Officer (Current Responsibilities).
In the larger interest of the company, you have been relieved from the post of Additional Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer (Current Responsibilities) with effect from January 14.
A copy of the letter signed by the Chairman of Jamuna Life has also been sent to the Chairman of the Insurance Development and Regulatory Authority (IDRA).
