Syed Atik, Tongi: The first death anniversary of Shahjahan Siraj Saju, former president of Tongi Press Club, former sub-editor of Dainik Janakantha, editor and publisher of weekly Agnisakshi newspaper, is today (29.10.2024). On this day last year, he died under treatment at the capital’s Uttara Modern Medical College Hospital due to incurable myopathy. On the occasion of his first death anniversary, a prayer and remembrance meeting was organized today at Bad Johor Tonggi Press Club Auditorium. It should be noted that journalist Shahjahan Siraj Saju has performed important duties in various national daily newspapers including Dainik Dinkal, Dainik Janakantha with reputation. At the same time, he has worked to organize the organization, including serving as the president of the traditional Tongi Press Club several times.
