
Press Release: The central committee of Bangladesh Youth Muslim League, an affiliate organization of the traditional political party Bangladesh Muslim League, has been announced.
A 45-member committee has been announced with human rights activist Mohammad Ali Jinnah Manik as the president, Shafiqul Islam Javed as the general secretary and Mufti Charowar Bin Kasem as the senior vice-president. An introductory meeting of the newly formed Bangladesh Youth Muslim League Committee was held at the Abdus Salam Hall of the National Press Club on Sunday under the chairmanship of Youth Muslim League President and human rights activist Mohammad Ali Jinnah. Bangladesh Muslim League President Adv. Mohsin Rashid was present as the chief guest and party Secretary General Kazi Abul Khair was present as the main speaker. FDP President Dr. AR Khan, party standing committee members Syed Abdul Hannan Noor, Eng. Gias Uddin Chowdhury and Sheikh A Sabur, central leaders Rubel Bin Gaffar, Maksudur Rahman, Mahbubur Rahman Bhuiyan, Mamunur Rashid, Captain Anisur Rahman Master, Munjurul Islam, Raihan Khan and others also spoke.
As Chief guest’s speech Bangladesh Muslim League President Advt Mohsin Rashid introduced the leaders of the Jubo Muslim League Committee and said that the mass uprising of August 5 has proved that the youth will control the future politics of the country. He called on the youth to prepare for running the state. In his keynote address, Muslim League Secretary General Kazi Abul Khair called on the youth leaders to play an important role in the revival of the Muslim nationhood by taking the political philosophy of Muslim nationalism to every household in building a new Bangladesh.
