Moon Desk: Indian troops in their fresh act of state terrorism martyred one Kashmiri youth in Kupwara district of Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir.
According to Kashmir Media Service, the youth was martyred by Indian troops durian a cordon and search operation in Kamkari Macchil area of the district on Saturday morning۔
Earlier, at least one Indian soldier was killed and two others were injured in an attack in the nearby area of the district. The operation continued till last reports came in.
Three dead bodies of women were recovered from Dal Lake area of Srinagar district in Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir on Saturday evening.
According to Kashmir Media Service, an official told the media in Srinagar that three bodies were found in Dal Lake at Foreshore road near Shalimar ghat..
The official said police have reached the spot and bodies are being taken to hospital for legal and medico formalities, investigation in this regard has been taken up.
Meanwhile, Indian government has ordered the extraction of two Border Security Force (BSF) battalions, comprising more than 2,000 personnel, from Odisha to beef up restrictions in the Jammu region along the India-Pakistan border.
According to Kashmir Media Service, officials said the decision to immediately move the two units from the anti-Naxal operations grid to Jammu was taken in the wake of the recent spate of attacks in the region.
The troops of these two units are expected to be based in Samba and near the Jammu-Punjab border, they said.
“Two recent meetings, one in New Delhi and one in Jammu, of the top security brass necessitated bolstering BSF deployment in Jammu,” said a senior officer, requesting anonymity.
