MM Rahmatullah: The Khilafat Majlis, a prominent Islamic organization in Bangladesh, hosted an iftar gathering in honor of distinguished personalities, including national leaders, scholars, intellectuals, and journalists.

Speaking at the event, Khilafat Majlis Aamir Maulana Abdul Basit Azad emphasized the importance of upholding the July charter and the people`s verdict. He warned that any attempt to undermine the charter or the referendum would have serious consequences.

“We will not tolerate any fascist government in Bangladesh,” Azad said. “The people of Bangladesh will not forgive those who fail to implement the July charter.”

He also condemned the Israeli aggression on Iran, saying it was a violation of international law and a threat to regional peace and stability.

Dr. Shafiqur Rahman, leader of the opposition in the national parliament and Aamir of Jamaat-e-Islami Bangladesh, was the chief guest at the event. He pledged to defend the July uprising at all costs, saying that the survival of the current government depended on upholding the charter.

The Iftar gathering was attended by prominent leaders, including Colonel (Retd.) Oli Ahmed, Chairman of the Liberal Democratic Party; Maulana Ahmad Ali Kasemi, Naib Amir of Khilafat Majlis, Barrister Asaduzzaman Fuad, General Secretary of the AB Party; and Spokesperson of JAGPA Mr Rashed Prodhan.

The event was organized by the Khilafat Majlis at the FARS Hotel and Resorts in the Capital.
