Faruk Ahmed, Magura: Magura B&S Eco Auto Bricks Ltd was attacked and looted by miscreants. B&S Eco Auto Bricks Limited is located in Jagla and Kanpur fields of Jagdal Union of Magura Sadar Upazila. On Monday August 5 and Tuesday August 6, about 2,000 miscreants entered B&S Eco Auto Bricks and attacked, vandalized, set fire and looted. Going to the surface, it can be seen that 1 jeep Dhaka Metro-Cha 51-1111 is burnt in front of the main gate. Numerous pieces of Thai glass are scattered in front of the building, arson inside the building, wall-mounted televisions, computers, laptops, furniture, electric Swiss, fans, important papers and documents required by the brick kiln have been looted, set on fire and vandalized. Inside the establishment of Auto Bricks pea machine fan looted and lying open, 2 big power switch boxes inside machine taken away, 4-5 charge battery driven cars vandalized and their battery-peat looted, iron pallet railing car looted, various valuables The gang of miscreants damaged and looted various types of machine parts including machine parts and nuts, looted iron angles, large nuts lying open and looted their valuable parts, all medium and small nuts in the factory.
It is said that Bangladesh Army officers have already inspected the damage to the factory. Pankaj Saha of Shatrujitpur area said that people of the area are on duty during the day and night to prevent looting, theft and robbery of factory machines and goods. The names and identities of the people on duty are Kamal Hossain, Yarul, Chand Ali, Mirjan, Ripon, Noor Islam, Rahim, Pukurpara area Kala Ali, Jaglar Sagar Ali of Jagla North Para area.
According to the Labor Inspection Management Application (LIMA) under the Ministry of Labor and Employment, Directorate of Factory and Establishment Inspection, People’s Republic of Bangladesh Government, Magura B&S Eco Auto Bricks Limited is registered. Type- Industrial Sector Brickyard or Bricks Field and Class-D. License and Registration No. 55-57-1-085-00008 and Old License and Registration No. 437/Magura. The total number of workers in this factory is 120 out of which 100 are male and 20 are female.
