Staff Correspondent: National Life Insurance, the country’s leading life insurance company, has won the Gold award in the 14th ICMAB Best Corporate Award. The award was presented to National Life on November 14, 2024, at a grand ceremony held at Hotel Sonargaon in the capital. National Life secured the 1st position in the Life Insurance category, winning the Gold award.
The award was presented to National Life’s Chief Executive Officer Mr. Kazim Uddin and CFO Mr. Prabir Chandra Das FCA by the Finance Advisor Dr. Salehuddin Ahmed and Commercial Advisor Sheikh Bashiruddin. The ceremony was also attended by the Senior Secretary of the Ministry of Commerce, Mr. Selim Uddin, and the Chairman of the National Board of Revenue Md. Abdur Rahman Khan FCMA.
In recognition of its corporate governance, transparency, and contributions to the national economy in 2023, National Life Insurance received this award from the Institute of Cost and Management Accountants of Bangladesh (ICMAB).
It is worth mentioning that ICMAB has awarded the Best Corporate Award-2023 to 46 public and private limited companies in the country this year.
