Staff Correspondent: The government has deputed Major General Mohd Hossain Al Morshed as the next director general of the National Security Intelligence days after long-serving Major General TM Jobair was taken back to the Bangladesh Army on March 31.
The public administration ministry on Tuesday issued the order on the new appointment of Major General Morshed.
Prior to new appointment, Major General Morshed of 26th BMA Long Course served as a faculty at the National Defence College in the Bangladesh Army.
TM Jobair has served as NSI director general since 2018.
